In 1977 Ivan Savage was approached by a CIL representative, if he would be interested in a joint venture partnership to operate their fertilizer plant.

On April 1, 1978 Ivan began a 20 year career in the fertilizer operation.  He was joined by Joe and Francis Toner.  Before 1979 Toner Bros. Ltd operated a Chemical business. Since Ivan was a shareholder of Toner Bros. Ltd. he moved the chemical business to the Agromart who purchased the business in 1994.

In 1998 the Agromart was expropriated to make way for the new Trans Canada Highway. 

In 1999 the new buildings were built on Despres Rd. where Joe Savage took over the operation as the new shareholder and manager.

En 1977 M.Ivan Savage fut approché par un représentant de la compagnie CIL.  On lui demande s'il était intéressé à être co-propriétaire d'une usine d'engrais chimique.  Ce fut Avril 1, 1978 que Ivan débuta sa carrière comme vendeur d'engrais chimique et fut joint par Joe et Francis Toner.  Avant 1979 cette entreprise était connue sur le nom de Toner Bros. Ltd.  Comme Ivan était en actionnaire de Toner Bros. Ltd. il fut démenager l'entreprise chimique à l'Agromart qui ont fait l'achat de cette entreprise en 1994.

En 1998 l'Agromart fut exproprié pour être remplacé par la nouvelle route Trans Canadienne.

En 1999 un nouveau plant fut construite sur le chemin Després ou Jos Savage est devenue le nouveau actionnaire et gérant des opérations.
